And you thought dogfish stealing your catch was bad…  Recently a group of fishermen looking for bluefin tuna off of Oregon Inlet here in North Carolina’s very own Outer Banks had quite the show as a pod of orcas appeared around their boat, and one turned around and ate a 250 lb tuna right off the hook.  Even better, it was captured on video (complete with the song from Free Willy, though in this case the Jaws theme might have been more appropriate).

Pretty awesome, and I never knew orcas even made appearances off of North Carolina.  This can only mean that we are all doomed.
