AFS 2011!

afs.org

I’m in (uncharacteristically) beautiful sunny Seattle for the 141st Annual Meeting of the American Fisheries Society.  This conference is absolutely massive, with nearly 4,000 fish researchers and enthusiasts in attendance.  Due to a somewhat less ideal internet situation than I had at AES this year, accompanied by a general lack of free time, I’ll be summarizing the whole thing after I get back rather than daily updates.  To fill in the gaps, I’ll be sporadically updating the ol’ Twitter feed, so check in there every so often and look for the hashtag #AFS2011.  And if you’re at the conference (with 4,000 fish nerds in one place, the odds aren’t bad) feel free to come out and have a beer.  And come to my talk.

I was there too! Wish I had gotten to see your talk…but sadly I was busy going crazy over organizing t-shirt sales.

I was actually working the info desk right across from the t-shirt booth on the first day. Were you over there then?
